The timeline is based upon a lot of variables, but typically it unfolds as follows working hand in hand with our Executive Brand Manager.

Note: At any time you can begin working on the graphics for your label. As soon as you have a design and story line you can submit it to us for review. We then provide guidance along the way. Many of the items below can be worked on simultaneously, but each step will have to be completed.

Overall time frame for planning purposes is 3 to 9 months for your first delivery. Thereafter orders can be filled within 2 weeks.

• Visit Plant

  We encourage you to visit our 25,000 sq. ft plant if possible, which will show you what makes our spirits special. Contact us to schedule a tour.

• Non-Disclosure Agreement

  The second step is to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and Product Development Agreement, which allows us to proceed in bringing your ideas to life.

• Federal Basic Wholesale Permit

  Next, we will guide you through the regulatory process and help you complete an application for a Federal Basic Wholesale Permit. This permit is required of all brand owners, and we will continue to advise you on all other federal regulatory requirements that may be necessary.

• Formula and samples

  Once permitting is out of the way, we design a formula for your spirit and create samples to your specifications and taste profile. We can produce almost any taste profile you require–no matter how unique or unusual it may be. This truly is “designer” spirits.
  (Can take 2 weeks or more depending on your response time for each sample)

• Formula Approval

  After a taste profile has been selected, we will obtain Federal (TTB) approval of the formula. (Can take 2-4 weeks)

• Graphic Design

  Concurrent with the formula creation and approval process, we can assist you with sourcing graphic design of a label, ensuring label regulatory requirements, and sourcing a label printer.

• Label Approval

  Once the formula is approved by the TTB and the label design is complete, we will apply to the TTB for a certificate of label approval (COLA). This is distinct from formula approval, and can only be done after formula approval. (can take 4-8 weeks)

• Packaging Sourcing

  During the label approval process, we can assist you with sourcing bottles, cartons, closures, and other packaging materials.

• Supply Agreement

  After sourcing, we will enter into an exclusive supply agreement guaranteeing your price.

• Purchase Order

  Upon completion of all the above steps, we will be able to accept a purchase order from you and begin storing and inventorying your packaging materials and bottles.

• Distribution

  While we process your inventory, you will need to arrange for distribution and obtain label approval in the states where you will be selling. We will consult with you through this stage as well.

• Ship Product

  At that point we will be able to fill and ship your bottled product to you distributors of choice.
