Terressentia is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and helping our customers do the same. We are closely monitoring developments regarding the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak and wanted to provide you with a status update of actions we have put in place to date to minimize risks as much as possible and maintain business continuity.
Like everyone, we are closely watching developments regarding the current situation and wanted to provide an update from our perspective.
There are a number of steps that we are currently taking as this virus spreads. These include restricted travel by our sales and marketing employees, enhanced cleaning of our manufacturing facilities, and providing detailed information to our employees about this illness and how to best prevent the spread of this or any related disease. We are encouraging all of our employees to stay at home if they feel sick, and following guidelines set by the CDC and state and local governments.
In Kentucky, we have suspended tours on campus, and until further notice, have canceled all events. We have canceled all non-essential in-person meetings with our outside vendors at this time as well. We are carefully managing contact with outside delivery personnel. Our goal is to keep a safe and sanitary work environment
While we may have placed a pause on our travel and instituted these additional preventative steps, we are still conducting business. We will work to communicate updated timelines. We are working closely with our vendors to ensure timely delivery of production materials and to gain understanding of any potential business or supply chain interruption. The business environment is fluid as the impact of this virus evolves. We will communicate specific updates with you directly as often as we have them.
We believe however, that by working together, our company, our corporate partners, our community, and our families will persevere over these challenges.
Thank you for your continued business and understanding.
